This place is perfect! High quality vegan food that is absolutely delicious! All of the ingredients were fresh and the food was beyond tasty. I especially like that they don’t over use oil. I had the gyro tacos and sweet potato they were phenomenal. Portion sizes make the plates good for sharing. The atmosphere in this place is exactly what is needed to enjoy a good meal; beautiful decor, comfortable seats and the music is at a sensible level so that you don’t have to shout to be heard. The owners have spared no expense in opening this restaurant and I will certainly be back.....often! 100% recommended.
Loved the attentiveness and desire to create a great experience. I took my daughter who decided to become a vegetarian about 3 months ago here, so she could pick anything off the menu, on a whim. She loved it, and my son who loves meat also loved the options. We immediately tried the “gyro” meat, which was great. Simple and good.
This place is a real find. The food is healthy, tasty, and filling without making you feel guilty. The atmosphere is relaxing, and the staff are genuinely kind. I’ve been here for both business meals and dates, and it works perfectly for both. Everyone I’ve brought has loved it. I always feel better and more balanced after having turmeric blended tea.
This vegan restaurant opened about 4 months ago, and it is crazy good! The decor is beautiful, the staff is super nice, and the food is delicious! Prices are very reasonable, and portions are generous. The Beyond Burger with fries is huge, and the 7 layer Hummus you can tell is made from scratch. This one definitely stays in our favorites list. We will come back for sure next time we are in town.
As soon as you walk through the door, you step into a different world of delicious smells and a belief that kindness matters. The service was superior and the food was fabulous. I highly recommend this restaurant whether you are vegan or not. They have something for everyone.
I wanted to try something new for my birthday, so weeks in advance, I searched for places in Houston since I love Texas. Just Falafel Vegan Cafe immediately caught my eye with its stunning photos and impressive menu—I knew right away this was going to be a fine dining experience. From the moment I arrived, I was warmly greeted. The woman assisting me was incredibly kind, checking in throughout my visit and informing me about any possible substitutions. For my meal, I ordered the avocado hummus, falafel nachos, and a latte. Every bite was bursting with flavor, and the ingredients tasted fresh and wholesome—none of the artificial additives you sometimes find at other vegan spots. Beyond the food, the cafe’s interior was absolutely beautiful. Pictures don’t do it justice! The entire experience was exceptional, from the ambiance to the service to the delicious food. I will definitely be back. Thank you for a wonderful experience!
Loved this place and loved that everything is vegan and sooo good, flavorful and fresh. The desserts and drinks were next level. Chill music playing, good vibes all around. The owner was super friendly and really passionate about the food, which made it even better. Definitely coming back when visiting Houston again!
Very comfortable cozy and chic place. Spoke with the owner and he said that he's wife helped with the decorating which is very nice. They have been open for a soft opening and they are making changes to the menu. What I got was absolutely fantastic and dessert was so creamy and delicious. They also have lots of beverages anything from water, juice, coffee, mocktails and more. When you first walk in you are hit with the incredible smells of the food, you see an open style kitchen and prep area where the food is put together. They have a bar area, inside table sitting area, and an outdoor area where he mentioned that space will be dog friendly. Definitely going to be back here again when I can and I suggest you give them a try... I liked this place so much that I had it delivered to my hotel room the next night too and tried the green goddess soup because after a day where I felt like I worked and ignored myself I wanted to give myself proper nutrition and not only was it good for me but tasted incredible as well!
